Tituba, from Taboao da Serra/ 2017

This work is a depiction of an old colonized soul, trying to fit in a "new" world. Feminism: is this the modern denomination for witchcraft in the current world order? Can she combine her old beliefs and practices with the modernity around her? Is she really free to unleash her vengeance, or is she again just one more victim of another colonized system? Super Vixen and The The's/ 2017

Photography, Collage, Illustration. This work surrealistically highlights how body positivity looks like for queer-trans-nonbinray bodies in my view: as a super transcendental powerful asset. One that we daily use in a constant fight against the cis-tem. Part of this work belongs to Glo'art Gallery (Lanaken, Belgium). [click in the image to open link]

Tropikahl Pussy (Drag Alter Ego)

Tropikahl Pussy came to the world with the intention to introduce and blend the Latinx Drag alternative aesthetics into the Art and Entertainment world. Tropikahl is a more blatant and unconventional-but-palatable way for Ivy to take his femme-drag-political to the nightlife and from the nightlife to their artistic practice. Another aim is also to question if the value of each lap dance can be payed with any other "coin" than the monetary one. The "client" can choose to read a passage of a book for the performer, have some tea and enjoy the rest of the session as a payment for the lap dance. [click on the image to open link]

in.no.sence /2013

Multimedia Installation, Clothing Design, Photosession This work is a 3D “painting” that represents in a symbolic and surrealistic way, all what the state of mind called 'Innocence' represents – or used to represent, to each one of us. Integrated to this, Likewise the installation, the photos are like a dream: unclear, difused – too blurred to define. Just like the concept of innocence is unclear and relative depending of who experience it. [click on the image to open link for gallery]
